Manufacturer: Studio Aries Product Development | Creative Direction | Graphic Design: Carl Braun Project Info: I created a comic book entitled SEALS, which I write, draw, letter and design the book through the publishing arm of my Studio Aries company. Inside this comic book, I wanted to feature a shirt that one of the characters would wear, that I would then offer for sale through the book. I came up with an, "As Seen in this Comic" icon for the full-page ad which is a bit of a parody on the "As Seen On TV" line of products. I've never seen another comic book publisher do this, so I'm happy to be consistently innovating, not only in the consumer products I design, but also in my comic books. The design is a combination of the Diver Down Flag and the Storm Warning Flag yielding a new graphic of storm diver, which is a Navy SeAL. Hoo-Yah!
